Qualified Asbestos Consultant

About the role

Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking a Qualified Asbestos Consultant to join its Technical Team in Maidstone. You will work across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector sites, delivering asbestos surveying, analytical and consultancy services in line with current legislation and best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys (HSG264).
• Perform asbestos re‑inspection surveys, audits and air‑monitoring, including four‑stage clearances (HSG248).
• Supervise licensed asbestos removal projects and produce accurate survey reports.
• Provide expert advice and consultancy to clients on asbestos risk management.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and professionalism on site.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 certifications (or equivalent).
• At least two years’ experience in the asbestos industry.
• Working knowledge of HSG248 and HSG264 guidance.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
