Qualified Asbestos Consultant

About the role

Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking a qualified Asbestos Consultant to join its technical team in Maidstone. The role involves delivering asbestos surveying, analytical and consultancy services across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector sites, working both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform re‑inspection surveys, audits and asbestos air monitoring, four‑stage clearances and analytical services per HSG248.
• Supervise licensed asbestos removal projects and produce accurate survey reports and technical documentation.
• Provide expert advice and consultancy to clients and represent Bradley professionally on site.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and professionalism throughout all activities.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or equivalent) certifications.
• Minimum two years’ experience in the asbestos industry.
• Working knowledge of HSG248 and HSG264 guidance.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

What we offer

• Salary £31,990.40 – £43,535.20 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
• £4,000 joining bonus for qualified candidates who complete 12 months’ service.
