QA/QC Document Controller & ITP Specialist – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Document Controller and ITP Coordinator to join the Redstone PV + BESS project, a 19 MWp solar plant with a 30 MWh battery storage system in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. The role is full‑time, site‑based and involves supporting the multidisciplinary team through design, construction, commissioning and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Support project execution by coordinating activities with disciplines, subcontractors and stakeholders, monitoring progress and identifying potential delays.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documents, resolve RFIs and manage technical interfaces between PV, electrical, BESS and SCADA.
• Supervise site activities, manage work fronts and subcontractor performance, ensure material availability and monitor productivity.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and quality standards; support inspections, punch‑list and project close‑out.
• Comply with HSE requirements, participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks and exercise stop‑work authority when needed.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, Construction Management or Document Control.
• 3–5 years experience in QA/QC document control, quality administration or ITP coordination, preferably on renewable‑energy or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage ITPs, inspection documentation, quality registers, NCRs and document revision control.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality‑management principles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and ability to work with engineers, QC inspectors and subcontractors.
