About the role

The Department of Employment and Labour is offering entry‑level clerk positions in its provincial offices across South Africa. These roles are ideal for recent graduates with a Matric qualification and provide a pathway into public service while offering a competitive salary package.

Required profile

Qualification: Matriculation/Grade 12 with passed Commercial Subjects (Business Management, Economics and Accounting) for the Provisioning Clerk; Grade 12 certificate for the Human Resource Clerk.
Experience: No prior experience required for the Human Resource Clerk; the Provisioning Clerk also does not list a mandatory experience requirement.

What we offer

Salary: R237 453 per annum (base) for both positions.
Benefits: The Human Resource Clerk role includes an additional 37% in lieu of benefits.
