Property Sourcing Specialist

About the role

A remote part-time Property Sourcing Specialist role within an expanding property business, based in a dedicated home office in South Africa. It starts with 5 to 8 hours per week and can grow to 10 to 12 hours per week. The specialist identifies high-potential properties through portal searches and auction reviews, then contacts estate agents and carries out initial due diligence to present qualified investment leads to executives.

Key responsibilities

• Search property portals proactively for price-reduced, extended-listing, undervalued or non-mortgageable stock
• Contact and build relationships with UK estate agents by telephone and email, negotiate potential purchases and maintain recurring leads
• Research auction catalogues, including multiple lots with title-splitting potential, commercial buildings, farms, land and refurbishment projects
• Research comparable sales and local market conditions using publicly available information
• Maintain a structured database of property details, asking prices, reductions, estimated potential and structural or legal issues
• Collate and present fully researched opportunities to leadership for further assessment

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in online research, business development, lead generation and pipeline management
• Confident verbal communication and the persistence to call estate agents directly
• Excellent written and spoken UK English, attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Ability to work independently remotely from South Africa
• Desirable: experience in UK property, property sourcing, development or real estate investment; experience in import/export, trading or property-related companies
