Property Manager I – Retail Property & ATM Portfolio

About the role

Capitec is seeking an energetic Property Manager I to support the operational management of its cash device locations across a defined geographical portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring ATM and cash‑device sites meet business and client needs while optimizing access to cash solutions for personal and business banking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, negotiate and coordinate cash device locations within the bank’s property and distribution environment.
• Maintain lease agreements, monitor expiries, renewals, escalations and ensure compliance with leasing terms.
• Conduct site feasibility analysis considering foot traffic, visibility, access and complementary businesses.
• Support relocations, consolidations and roll‑outs of cash devices, working closely with Property, Legal, Projects, Finance and Operations teams.
• Prepare reports, collate data and uphold governance, audit trail and data accuracy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Properties & Development or a related field; honours or master’s degree is a plus.
• 1‑3 years of experience in retail property, property leasing administration or portfolio coordination, preferably with ATM or cash‑device exposure.
• Strong understanding of South African retail property landscape and leasing principles.
• Ability to work with internal governance processes and document management tools.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
