Property & Asset Manager – Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

About the role

MH Solutions is seeking a proactive Property & Asset Manager to oversee its diverse portfolio of residential, student accommodation, short‑term rental and commercial properties in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role combines hands‑on property management with strategic asset growth, ensuring high standards of maintenance, financial performance and tenant satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall property portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and value preservation.
• Oversee short‑term rental operations, including platform coordination and guest experience.
• Maintain strong tenant and guest relations across residential and commercial units.
• Handle commercial property leasing, renewals and day‑to‑day administration.
• Control budgets, monitor operating costs and prepare financial reports.
• Develop and execute marketing and branding initiatives for the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property, asset or hospitality management.
• Strong knowledge of short‑term rental platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
• Experience managing residential and/or commercial properties.
• Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple properties and priorities simultaneously.
• Financial awareness for budgeting and cost control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English, written and spoken.
