Project Manager – Cape Town (AVT)

About the role

AVT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team in Cape Town. The role focuses on delivering technical projects within the unified communications and audio‑visual sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources, vendors and stock to meet customer and internal timelines and budgets.
• Develop project scopes, objectives and functional specifications while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Monitor progress, manage changes in scope, schedule and costs, and report weekly to management.
• Maintain stakeholder communication, manage client relationships and perform risk management to minimise project risks.
• Ensure delivery of projects within scope, with required documentation, sign‑off procedures and health‑safety compliance.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years experience in the AV/VC field or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant project‑management experience, knowledge of PMBOK and appropriate qualifications.
• Previous IT experience and ability to read engineering and architectural drawings, schedules, test reports and commissioning documents.
• Proven ability to supervise tasks and personnel to meet project timelines and budgets.
