Project Manager – Business Projects

About the role

Within PwC's South Africa Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC), the Business Project Manager drives execution of strategic initiatives across human capital, learning & development, internal IT and change management, aligning them with broader business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects across SATIC focused on Human Capital, Learning & Development and Change Management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress, report status, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, functional teams and external partners to secure alignment and support for project objectives.
• Facilitate communication across departments and manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates.
• Design and implement change management strategies, conduct impact analyses, assess organisational readiness and develop training plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in project management roles.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects with varied stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and tools.
