Project Lighting Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Lighting Sales Representative to drive new business and expand existing relationships across commercial, hospitality, residential, retail and wholesale markets. The role involves promoting decorative, architectural, commercial and smart lighting solutions and managing projects from enquiry to after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers and project managers.
• Prepare quotations, product presentations, specifications and lighting proposals.
• Manage the full sales cycle – from enquiry, specification and quotation to order placement, delivery and post‑sale service.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations and presentations.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and monitor competitor activity.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, technical support and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of proven sales experience in the lighting industry.
• Strong background in project and specification sales.
• Established relationships with electrical wholesalers, architects, engineers and contractors.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Valid driver’s licence, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel for customer visits.

Required skills

• Technical understanding of lighting products and solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
