Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join RetailNext's PMO team and provide essential support to Project Managers on strategic and high‑volume deployments. The role is remote in South Africa and works US business hours, ensuring documentation is accurate, milestones stay on track, and coordination runs smoothly for our most important customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on Named Account customers and large‑scale rollouts, attending meetings, capturing notes, and distributing clear summaries.
• Maintain project documentation across RetailNext platforms, track milestones, deadlines, and deliverables for multiple concurrent deployments.
• Generate accurate project quotes using established pricing models and process bulk upload requests for multi‑store rollouts.
• Coordinate vendor communications, shipping schedules, delivery confirmations, and hardware return/RMA activities.
• Keep project tracking systems such as SmartOps up‑to‑date and collaborate with Implementation Engineers on technical requirements.
• Provide flexible PMO team support, identify workflow inefficiencies, and create documentation or best‑practice guides.

• Honest communicator who flags off‑track items promptly.
• Organised, curious and eager to grow into project management.
• Willing and able to work US business hours from South Africa consistently.
