Professor of Human Resource Management

About the role

The University seeks a Professor to lead teaching and research in Human Resource Management (HRM) at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role combines lecturing, curriculum development, and academic leadership within the Department of Human Resource Management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures and seminars on HRM, strategic HRM, and Organisational Behaviour for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Lead postgraduate teaching, supervise advanced diploma, master’s and doctoral candidates.
• Develop and coordinate postgraduate curricula and programmes.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in accredited journals, and present findings at conferences.
• Provide academic administration and leadership within the department and collaborate with related schools.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Human Resource Management or a closely related field.
• Minimum two years experience as an Associate Professor.
• Extensive experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Strong record of research publication in accredited journals.
• Demonstrated success in supervising and examining postgraduate research.
• Presentation of research at national or international conferences.
• Relevant business or consulting experience is an advantage.
