Professional Sales Representative (Doctor Detailing) - Port Elizabeth & East London

About the role

Dr Reddy's Laboratories is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Professional Sales Representative (PSR) for its Port Elizabeth and East London territory. The role drives product sales and market growth through doctor detailing and engagement with healthcare professionals and medical facilities, supporting sales and marketing strategies, customer relationships and product awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Sell, detail and promote products to targeted doctors in a designated area to meet sales targets.
• Implement action plans in line with the company's marketing and sales strategy.
• Visit and liaise personally with key clients, as agreed with the Regional Manager or National Sales Manager.
• Maintain a database of all targeted clients.
• Liaise with management on business opportunities in the territory.
• Report product complaints (adverse events and technical complaints) and medical information queries for DRL products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Life Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharma industry experience.
• Doctor detailing experience is a must-have for the ideal candidate.
• Thorough understanding of the South African pharmaceutical industry and healthcare-related events.

Required skills

• Ability to build and expand business relationships and to sell products and achieve targets.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing principles and ability to learn product and disease information.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
• High level of integrity, adherence to compliance guidelines, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
