Professional Civil Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a professionally registered Civil Engineer (PR Eng) to join a dynamic team and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and support project execution from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and management of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct site inspections and provide engineering support during construction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering and professional registration as a PR Eng with ECSA.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles and practices, particularly in infrastructure, roads, water, stormwater, or municipal projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

What we offer

• Annual salary ranging from R 950 000 to R 1 200 000.
