Professional Bus Driver (Passenger Transport)

About the role
Unitrans is looking for experienced professional bus drivers to transport passengers on scheduled services. The role involves operating a bus safely along established routes, ensuring passengers reach their destinations on time and in comfort.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the bus on predefined routes according to the timetable.
- Control lighting, heating and ventilation systems for passenger comfort.
- Observe prescribed speeds, traffic signals and road conditions to guarantee safety.
- Maintain punctuality and ensure passengers arrive at their destinations on schedule.
- Comply with all company policies, code of conduct and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Valid Public Services Driving License (PG) and appropriate commercial driver’s permit (PrDP).
- Proven experience in passenger bus operation.
- Strong knowledge of defensive and preventive driving techniques.
- Commitment to obey traffic laws and avoid infractions.
