Special Events Driver

About the role

The Special Events Driver will support Coca‑Cola Beverages South Africa’s Special Events department by transporting and handling event stock, branding materials and equipment. The role requires safe driving, fleet upkeep and flexible availability to meet the demands of roadshow and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Transport event stock, branding materials, equipment, trailers, coolers, gazebos and promotional assets safely to and from event locations according to schedule.
• Maintain company vehicles and trailers in road‑worthy condition through daily inspections, cleanliness checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Support event set‑up and breakdown, including loading, unloading, branding placement and asset recovery.
• Plan and optimise transport routes to ensure timely deliveries while controlling costs.
• Safeguard and account for all stock and assets during transit and on‑site activities.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with PDP.
• 2–4 years experience in driving, logistics, fleet or FMCG operational support.
• Experience transporting event equipment or promotional materials is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel extensively.
