Professional Accountant – Accounting & Tax Advisory

About the role

Join a growing accounting and tax advisory practice within the iFSP Group. You will work with a diverse portfolio of companies, trusts, individuals, investment entities and family offices, supporting experienced specialists in a modern, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Maintaining general ledgers and reconciliations
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs
• Managing client accounting portfolios
• Preparing and submitting tax returns (VAT, PAYE, EMP201, EMP501, provisional tax)
• Managing SARS queries, objections and verifications
• Payroll processing and CIPC compliance
• Company secretarial administration
• Client relationship management
• Supporting audit and independent reviews
• Assisting with business process improvements and automation

Required profile

• BCom Accounting degree
• Completed SAICA articles
• Registered Tax Practitioner (or eligible)
• 1–3 years post‑articles experience
• Strong South African tax knowledge
• Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs
• Experience preparing financial statements
