Production Pharmacist

About the role

The Production Pharmacist ensures that all pharmaceutical manufacturing activities meet GMP, regulatory and quality standards while supporting efficient production. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with shift operations and acting as a backup to the Ops Support Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Support production activities to meet schedules and verify GMP compliance of products, equipment, materials and areas.
• Review and approve production documentation, line clearances and batch records.
• Investigate production issues, initiate and close deviations, and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Coordinate change controls, assess their impact and minimise compliance risk.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct compliance inspections, audits and quality checks; train production staff and identify development needs.
• Update SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) in line with approved CAPAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• 1‑3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
