Production & Material Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Production & Material Planner to coordinate production schedules and material availability for our automotive projects within the construction sector. The role will work closely with production teams, suppliers and the ERP/MRP system to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts and capacity, monitoring progress and updating plans as needed.
• Plan and monitor long‑term material forecasts, generate requirement reports, coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
• Maintain accurate work orders, production and material planning data in the ERP/MRP system and produce daily, weekly and monthly planning and inventory reports.
• Prepare and submit EPA and APDP declarations in line with regulatory and customer requirements, ensuring audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production or material planning within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management and material control processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Sypro preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
• Understanding of Bills of Materials, MRP planning and production scheduling.
• Experience preparing APDP (FORM C2) and EPA declarations.
