Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator will support the Government Communications and Information System (GCIS) in managing production activities across its supply chain functions. This role ensures smooth coordination between procurement, creditor management, and production teams to deliver services efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production processes and ensure alignment with supply‑chain requirements.
• Manage procurement orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee creditor accounts and support financial reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, employment equity, and relevant legislation.
• Prepare reports and provide administrative support to senior management.

Required profile

• South African citizen willing to work in Pretoria.
• Understanding of public‑sector procurement and supply‑chain procedures.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Commitment to the department’s employment equity and diversity objectives.
