Production Assistant – Manufacturing Support

About the role

Meadow Feeds, a leading feed manufacturer in Africa, is seeking a Production Assistant to support daily operations at its Standerton facility. The role involves hands‑on assistance on the shop floor, ensuring smooth material flow and maintaining a tidy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operators with routine tasks and equipment handling.
• Monitor and replenish micro raw‑material bins to keep production running.
• Conduct daily and monthly stock‑taking of raw materials.
• Loosen and clear raw materials that become stuck in bins.
• Check and fill micro raw‑material bins as required.
• Clean and keep the production area tidy and safe.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a production environment.
• Demonstrated personal and professional integrity.
• Ability to multi‑skill across different tasks.
• Willingness to work shift patterns.
