Product Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, self‑motivated marketer to join Capitec Bank’s credit portfolio team in Stellenbosch. The role covers Credit Card, Term Loan and Access Facility products, working closely with product, operations and creative teams to turn business insights into marketing that moves customers.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business‑unit requirements into integrated marketing plans.
• Collaborate with internal creative and delivery teams to launch campaigns.
• Embed yourself with the product team and act as a true business partner.
• Challenge briefs when the underlying issue is a product or client‑experience problem.
• Develop business cases, identify marketing gaps and secure budget where needed.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end from brief to delivery without relying on external agencies.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of marketing experience managing complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to figure things out and move forward.
• Experience in financial services or credit is advantageous; FMCG or retail background also valuable.
