Product Marketing Manager

About the role

Spot is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to shape how the brand is perceived by a mass‑market audience. The role translates the product roadmap into a consistent market narrative, linking product, growth and creative teams around a single value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Own Spot’s master narrative and messaging architecture, ensuring consistency across all channels.
• Transform product capabilities into differentiated market stories and value propositions.
• Maintain an evidence‑based understanding of customers, run quantitative and qualitative research, and keep segmentation models up to date.
• Write briefs for creative, growth and CRM teams and lead go‑to‑market initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Build reusable AI prompt libraries, messaging frameworks and AI‑assisted workflows for research and content creation.
• Use AI to synthesize research, test positioning and generate messaging variants, applying human judgement as the final quality filter.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience; emphasis on demonstrated capability over formal credentials.
• Product or strategic marketing experience with end‑to‑end ownership of positioning and messaging.
• Experience in fintech, telecoms or mass‑market consumer sectors is a plus, especially within the South African market.
• Early‑career or high‑potential talent with a portfolio showing AI‑driven work output.
