Product Knowledge & Training Coordinator

About the role

Hertex Fabrics is seeking a Product Knowledge & Training Coordinator to join its sales team at the Head Office in Stikland, Bellville. The role focuses on raising product awareness across all sales staff nationwide and supporting the delivery of high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis with line managers to identify product knowledge gaps.
• Develop and implement a structured training plan aligned with product launches and business objectives.
• Design, facilitate and deliver workshops, webinars and e‑learning modules covering product expertise, sales techniques and customer engagement.
• Manage monthly training rotations, booking systems and trainer allocations.
• Identify staff requiring refresher sessions and schedule them accordingly.
• Track attendance, completion rates and training effectiveness; report results to management.
• Organise weekly product‑knowledge meetings, Monday presentations and national product‑knowledge drives.
• Prepare showrooms and sales consultants for new product launches, compile presentations and storyboards, and coordinate regular showroom walk‑throughs.
• Liaise with buyers to gather detailed insights on all product categories.
