Procurement Business Partner – Non-Merchandise (NMP)

About the role

TFG South Africa is seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to lead non‑merchandise procurement across multiple business areas, including credit services, facilities management, corporate services and store development. The role will partner with stakeholders to design and execute procurement strategies that deliver commercial value while managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with assigned business areas to formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Deliver cost‑effective, commercially sound procurement solutions and manage supplier and contractual risk.
• Provide procurement leadership, sourcing support and governance across strategic and operational requirements.
• Adapt procurement approaches to suit diverse business areas and organisational complexity.
• Translate procurement activities into tangible, realized benefits and lead commodity specialists supporting allocated business areas.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management or procurement business partnering.
• Experience in indirect procurement, preferably within corporate services, financial services, insurance, retail, facilities management, store development or construction.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify value opportunities beyond price.
• Recognised degree or diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Law or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of supplier management, contract management, procurement governance and risk management.
