Practice Growth Marketer / Public Relations Officer

About the role

CuroMed operates five GP practices across Bloemfontein and Brandfort. The Practice Growth Marketer / Public Relations Officer is the face of CuroMed in the community, visiting schools, residences, universities, employers, old age homes, SMEs, women's groups, churches, sports clubs, farmers and community organisations to promote services, build trust and generate patient enquiries and bookings. It is a field-based growth role focused on face-to-face engagement, relationship building and local activations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit community groups and organisations, introduce GP services and build referral relationships
• Support the Student Health Ambassador programme: recruit ambassadors, run campus and residence activations, distribute campaign material and track leads and bookings
• Work with schools, residences and employers to promote GP access and arrange health talks and wellness days
• Engage old age homes, women's groups, farmers and community groups, and identify local influencers
• Run local campaigns such as flu season, student health, women's and men's health, chronic disease awareness and wellness days, and report outcomes
• Maintain weekly outreach trackers, databases of partners and weekly activity and monthly growth reports

Required profile

• Matric and a valid driver's licence
• Own reliable transport
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English; good understanding of the Bloemfontein and Brandfort communities
• Advantageous: marketing, sales, PR, medical practice marketing, community outreach, school marketing, pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience, and experience with schools, universities, community activations, referral networks or CRM

Required skills

• Strong face-to-face communication and relationship-building ability
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel, CRM forms and reporting tools
• Ability to plan daily routes and work independently
