Poultry Development Manager – Southern Africa

About the role

Vitam International is a leading distributor of premium animal feed additives and nutritional technologies across Southern Africa. They are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Poultry Development Manager to lead the growth of their poultry business throughout the region. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role blends technical expertise, business development and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow the poultry business throughout Southern Africa.
• Drive sales performance and achieve profitable growth targets.
• Build strong relationships with poultry producers, feed manufacturers, nutritionists, distributors and industry stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and expertise on poultry nutrition and feed additive solutions.
• Identify market opportunities and support the introduction of innovative technologies.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and international suppliers to deliver customer value.

Required profile

• MSc Agric degree (minimum).
• Registered with SACNASP as a Professional Animal Scientist.
• Minimum 5 years' poultry industry experience.
• Proven success in technical sales, business development or poultry nutrition.
