PHP Web Developer

About the role

Switch Telecom is seeking an experienced PHP Web Developer to join its hybrid team. You will work on innovative communication solutions, building new web applications and enhancing existing services within a fast‑paced telecom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain database‑driven web applications and web services using PHP.
• Create, modify and extend modules for existing PHP applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live PHP applications.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimise database performance.
• Adhere to coding best practices, security standards and quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional PHP development experience in a LAMP stack.
• Strong background in Linux, Apache and MySQL administration.
• Proficient in HTML and JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
