Phlebotomy Technician / Staff Nurse – Cape Town City Bowl

About the role

We have a nursing position at our Cape Town Mediclinic branch in the City Bowl area. The role combines phlebotomy expertise with nursing responsibilities, ensuring high‑quality patient care and adherence to PathCare values.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate or Phlebotomy Technician qualification and registration with SANC/HPCSA
• Computer literate; Meditech knowledge advantageous
• Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
• Proven phlebotomy experience
• Pathology experience including order of draw, point‑of‑care instruments and arterial blood gas analysis
• Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and teamwork skills
