Pharmacist Assistant – Reverse Logistics (PBQ)

About the role

Dis-Chem Oncology is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Assistant to support its Reverse Logistics function at the Midrand Head Office. You will ensure the efficient processing of credits, stock returns, and claims while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Add all credits received from individual practices to the shared drive spreadsheet.
• Process credit requests in line with Dis-Chem policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Escalate rejected credit claims to the relevant medical schemes and collect any newly created levies.
• Receive and process efficiency stock returned from practices, coordinating adjustments with the Dispensary Supervisor.
• Review and act on messages recorded on customer profiles.
• Ensure correct pricing of all goods dispensed.
• Apply the correct medical scheme claiming codes when resubmitting claims.
• Process weekly packaging orders.

Required profile

• Relevant Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic Qualification) certification.
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Oncology experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Unisolv is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Familiarity with Unisolv software.
