About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join our pharmacy team in Stellenbosch. The role involves supporting the pharmacist in dispensing medication and handling a range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with dispensing medicines under supervision.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and perform regular inventory checks.
• Handle pharmacy administration, including record‑keeping and processing prescriptions.
• Provide front‑shop service to customers, answering queries and offering guidance.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep the pharmacy clean and organized.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacist Assistant with a Post‑Basic certification.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
