Personal Assistant - Early Learning School

About the role

Inspired Education is recruiting a Personal Assistant for its Reddam House Ballito campus, serving as a key support to the Early Learning School Head. The role requires discretion, initiative and a commitment to efficiency and excellence, and involves greeting visitors, parents and children in the front office, so a friendly, people-oriented approach is important.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative and diary management support to the Early Learning School Head
• Prepare agendas, minutes, presentations and confidential documents
• Act as a liaison between the Head, the Early Learning School staff and the wider school
• Coordinate meetings and school events
• Assist with communication management, including emails, reports, internal memos and communication with parents
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations through proactive planning and problem-solving
• Support teaching staff where needed
• Answer the reception phone and greet visitors on arrival

Required profile

• At least 2 years of proven experience in a PA position
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
• Professional demeanour with integrity and confidentiality
• Enjoys interacting positively with both young children and adults
• Prior experience in the education sector is advantageous but not essential
• Team player who can multitask under pressure in a dynamic school environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Grade 12 PA accreditation
