Performance Management Lead – Cape Town

About the role

OneDome is seeking a commercially minded, people‑first Performance Management Lead to own and continuously improve its performance management model across the Group. Based onsite in Cape Town CBD, you will partner with HR, the Chief of Staff and line managers to create a high‑performance environment where expectations are clear, feedback is continuous, and productivity is measurable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, own and evolve OneDome’s performance management framework and modelling tools.
• Develop clear expectations, productivity benchmarks, KPIs and performance standards for all teams.
• Analyse historical and current performance data to spot trends, gaps, risks and opportunities.
• Translate business objectives into measurable individual and team goals.
• Lead performance cycles including goal setting, regular check‑ins, reviews, development planning and improvement processes.
• Partner with line managers to understand team structures, workloads and capacity, identifying opportunities to boost productivity.
• Assist managers in distinguishing performance, process, capability and resourcing challenges.

Required profile

• Self‑starter comfortable working with performance data and modelling.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to align performance frameworks with business growth.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with HR, senior leadership and line managers.
• Experience in developing and scaling performance management systems in a fast‑growing organisation.
