Patient Intake Specialist – Remote (EST Hours)

About the role

The Patient Intake Specialist is the first compassionate voice that prospective patients hear when they reach out for innovative mental‑health treatments. Working remotely on EST hours, you will bridge distressed callers to life‑changing care while supporting the clinic’s operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, texts and messages from prospective patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, chronic pain or crisis.
• Conduct structured, empathetic intake conversations (6‑11 minutes) to gather clinical information and build rapport.
• Convert interest into scheduled consultations with the appropriate clinicians.
• Document intake details accurately in the clinic’s system and follow confidentiality protocols.
• Maintain a professional, supportive tone while managing high‑volume call traffic.

Required profile

• Warm, empathetic communication style with ability to support callers in distress.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday EST hours (00:00‑09:00 SAST).
• Reliable home office setup with fixed fibre internet (≥25 Mbps) and power backup.
• Willingness to work on South African and U.S. public holidays as required.
