Parts Sales Representative - Polokwane

About the role

A commercial dealer client based in Polokwane is looking for a Sales Representative: Parts. The role reports to the Parts Manager and aims to maximise sales opportunities and achieve dealer objectives through excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Sell parts to customers with high product knowledge and offer product solutions
• Follow up on active prospects and update the customer database regularly
• Manage the sales process so that deliveries are made on time
• Monitor progress against targets and adhere to business policies and procedures
• Monitor and control stock and negotiate competitive prices
• Retain existing customers and acquire new business
• Maintain good internal and external relationships, cold call and communicate effectively verbally and electronically

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience as a Parts Sales Executive in the motor industry
• Matric or Grade 12
• Valid South African driver's licence
• Minimum 5 years of work experience, depending on the role
• Knowledge of work-related or OEM systems; Kerridge systems knowledge is an added advantage
