Parts Planning Pricing Analyst (Auto)

About the role

The international automotive OEM seeks a dynamic Aftersales Product and Pricing Analyst to develop, implement and maintain pricing models that strengthen the brand’s competitive advantage and support overall after‑sales turnover and dealer profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute competitor studies of model competitors and the independent aftermarket to assess market position.
• Derive price functions for after‑sales products, establishing price leader/follower strategies and additional price steps.
• Set discounts and conditions to increase dealer network loyalty.
• Facilitate dealer working groups to review price positioning and competitor activity.
• Research brand presence and effectiveness in the marketplace and support marketing briefs for price repositioning.
• Represent the OEM in group parts pricing activities and prepare data for target agreement negotiations.

Required profile

• Recognised 3‑year National diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Procurement, Marketing or Business Management.
• Minimum 3 years automotive experience with solid understanding of the market and competitive environment.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, collection business and dealer after‑sales procedures.
• Familiarity with SAP, ET 2000 and Business Warehouse is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research.
• Strong numeracy and ability to work with figures.
• Understanding of pricing principles and structured thinking.
