Partner Account Manager

About the role

Cognisys is seeking a Partner Account Manager to grow and nurture relationships with its strategic partners. Working remotely from South Africa, you will act as the primary commercial liaison, helping to generate new business and maximise partnership value across cybersecurity and GRC services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic partner accounts.
• Build strong relationships with partner sales, account managers and leadership teams.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within existing partner accounts.
• Collaborate with partners to qualify, progress and close customer opportunities.
• Deliver partner enablement sessions, service updates and presentations.
• Develop account plans to maximise partner engagement and long‑term growth.
• Work closely with internal Sales, Marketing and Technical Delivery teams to support partner opportunities.
• Represent Cognisys at partner meetings, events and joint customer engagements.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity pipelines and sales forecasts.
• Provide regular account reviews and commercial updates to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Partner Management, Account Management, Business Development or Sales.
• Proven track record of growing customer or partner revenue.
• Experience in Cyber Security, Technology, IT Services or SaaS environments.
• Strong relationship‑building and commercial acumen.
