About the role
Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Financial Adviser to serve clients in Pietermaritzburg, Greytown and Howick. This role is ideal for individuals who already hold a position but wish to supplement their income by offering professional financial advice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored financial advice to existing and prospective clients across the designated regions.
- Leverage personal network and market access to identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including criminal and credit checks.
- Prepare and present financial solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
Required profile
- Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Strong computer literacy and digital dexterity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and analyse information effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with sound business acumen and resilience.
