About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a part-time Financial Adviser based in Morningside, Durban. The role suits someone currently in an existing role who wants to supplement their value proposition and/or income by offering financial advice. The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa.

Required profile

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4), school leaving certificate, national or occupational certificate or equivalent.
  • Currently in an existing role that you wish to retain while supplementing it.
  • Access to the in-segment market and an existing network.
  • Valid driver's licence and own car.
  • Clear criminal and credit check.

Required skills

  • Proven computer literacy and digital dexterity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, sound planning and organisation, and ability to collate, analyse and synthesise information.
  • Sales orientation and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Trust building, consultative selling, customer-focused service, prospect qualification, sales data management and sales software.
