Pad Packer (Night Shift)

About the role

Amrod is looking for a Pad Packer for its night shift in Woodmead, Gauteng. The role provides vital support to the team by preparing, checking and packing orders so that operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently in line with production objectives. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Collect orders from the warehouse.
• Pack and unpack boxes.
• Check product quality to ensure adherence to standards.
• Report deviations from standards to the supervisor or team leader.
• Assist in other positions and departments as required.
• Help achieve targets while maintaining quality standards in a highly pressurised environment.
• Follow safety regulations and report any safety irregularities to management.
• Maintain good housekeeping.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of similar experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Prior experience packing within the Screen department is an added advantage.
