Outbound Call Centre Sales Agent – Satellite Channels & Funeral Services

About the role

The Satellite Channels/Funeral Outbound Call Centre Sales Agent will make outbound calls to existing satellite TV subscribers, promoting and selling a range of insurance products while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct professional outbound sales calls to existing satellite TV channel subscribers and promote insurance products.
• Provide accurate product information, handle objections and close sales while meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customers understand policy benefits and claims processes.
• Accurately capture and update customer data in the CRM and complete all required sales documentation.
• Adhere to FSCA, FAIS, POPIA, TCF and company compliance standards and follow approved sales scripts.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 or sales‑related certificates are advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of outbound call‑centre sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Experience using an outbound dialler system.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with call recording and quality monitoring tools.
