Organisational Change Manager

About the role

The Organisational Change Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and directing enterprise‑wide people‑focused transformation initiatives that enable successful organisational change. This role partners with senior leaders to embed sustainable change practices, build leadership and employee readiness, and drive cultural alignment that supports high performance and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integrated change management strategies aligned with company strategic and operational plans.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable change roadmaps with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Manage change milestones, interdependencies, and success indicators across transformation programmes.
• Support embedding of company core values into leadership practices and employee behaviours.
• Develop stakeholder maps and engagement plans to enable effective communication and influence.
• Partner with senior leaders to enhance their capability as credible change sponsors.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years managerial and 5 years professional experience in organisational change management, organisational development, culture or business transformation, or HR project roles.
• Proven experience in implementing change frameworks, developing stakeholder engagement strategies, and leading communication and adoption plans.
• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or public sector environment is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or a related behavioural science discipline.
• Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci®, ACMP®) is advantageous.
