About the role
The company supplies specialty premixes and feed additives to South African farmers and co‑ops. The clerk will manage client orders, coordinate with production, and ensure accurate invoicing and delivery timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process client orders via email, phone, sales team or agents, and enter them into Pastel Sage.
- Communicate lead times, delivery schedules, invoices and payment status to customers.
- Coordinate daily with the production department on order and delivery planning.
- Review invoices against orders, manage complaints, and handle product returns.
- Prepare weekly reports, board meeting minutes and board packs.
- Assist with state vet inspections, month‑end stock take and export documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in client services and order handling.
- Matric qualification with an accounting background.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Pastel Sage accounting software.
