Oracle ERP (EBS & HCM) Technical Administrator Support Specialist

About the role

This 12‑month contract position provides advanced technical administration and support for a hybrid Oracle environment that includes Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion HCM. The specialist will ensure platform stability, security, and performance while supporting upgrades, quarterly patch cycles, and critical business processing periods.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical administration, operational support, and maintenance across Oracle EBS, Fusion HCM, OCI, and related integration platforms.
• Monitor system environments, optimise performance, and maintain environment stability.
• Execute system upgrades, patches, and release cycles for both EBS and Fusion HCM.
• Resolve technical incidents and service requests within agreed service levels, providing root‑cause analysis.
• Support and maintain integrations, interfaces, workflows, and reporting components to ensure end‑to‑end business continuity.
• Provide on‑site technical support during high‑risk, time‑critical processing periods such as payroll, year‑end, and compensation cycles.

Required profile

• At least eight (8) years of experience as an Oracle E‑Business technical resource in project or support environments.
• Proven experience with Oracle EBS Open Interfaces, APIs, REST APIs, and data conversions/integrations.
• Strong capability to design, architect, and develop technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of quality assurance, testing, release management, and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated client orientation, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion HCM administration.
• Java development and advanced PL/SQL.
• Unix/AIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Tomcat, WebLogic, SSL offloading, reverse proxy, and F5 load balancing.
• Single Sign‑On (SSO), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), LDAP.
• Oracle OBIEE, APEX, SOA, Integration Cloud, and OCI.
• Oracle BI Publisher, Data Intelligence/Analytics.
