Oracle AFCS & AHCS Specialist – Financial Technology

About the role

Our client, a leading financial technology provider, is looking for an experienced Oracle AFCS & AHCS Specialist. You will design, implement, configure and support Oracle Financial Services Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS) and Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous financial and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and ongoing support of Oracle AFCS and AHCS solutions.
• Configure accounting rules, mappings, journal generation and transformation logic.
• Design and manage accounting event processing and financial data flows.
• Integrate AFCS/AHCS with upstream banking, finance, ERP and operational systems.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, validation and financial controls testing.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Collaborate with finance, technology and business stakeholders to gather requirements and produce functional/technical design documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements.
• Participate in SIT, UAT and production deployments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financial Services or Oracle ERP implementations.
• Strong background in financial accounting, sub‑ledger accounting, reconciliation and accounting event processing.
• Experience in banking, financial services or large‑scale enterprise finance environments.
• Ability to work effectively within Agile delivery teams and manage multiple priorities.
