Optivet, an established private optometry practice in the Stellenbosch area, is seeking a professional, patient‑focused Optometrist to join its dedicated team. The role is ideal for an optometrist who takes pride in delivering personalised, high‑quality clinical care and building lasting patient relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals.
• Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry.

Required profile

• Qualified and HPCSA‑registered optometrist.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, warm, and patient‑centred approach.
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to the practice team.
• Genuine commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
