Operator Gr1 Hauling – Fixed Term (Mining)

About the role

The Operator Gr1 Hauling (Fixed‑Term) is responsible for safely operating mining haul trucks and related equipment to move materials, components and equipment across the site. The role supports operational targets while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow SHE standards and legislation related to vehicle control.
• Attend safety meetings, identify hazards and apply SLAM/HIRA/Mini HIRA assessments.
• Operate and control haul trucks safely, coordinating with mine personnel to ensure smooth material flow.
• Prepare and load production areas according to operational plans.
• Conduct pre‑shift and walk‑around equipment inspections and report any defects.
• Support supervisors and co‑workers, adhering to company policies.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning equipment and maintaining safety signage.
• Report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Required profile

• Ability to operate heavy mining vehicles safely and efficiently.
