Operations Manager - Supply, France

About the role

AnyVan is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager for its Transport Partners (TP) team in France. You will lead the operations of the partners who deliver jobs for the company, from recruiting and onboarding them to keeping the allocation engine running smoothly so every booked job has a driver assigned. The role sits between the frontline and senior leadership and requires comfort with rapid priorities, parallel initiatives and constant change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner lifecycle: recruit TPs against a monthly accreditation target, own the signup-to-first-job funnel, manage early-life onboarding, and keep partners compliant and self-sufficient on the portal and app
• Manage active partner numbers and churn, cancellations, on-time performance and feedback scores, with a coach-warn-suspend-offboard process
• Match partners to jobs quickly and cost-effectively, negotiate rates, run live availability lists and handle the hard-to-cover queue
• Drive partners to win work through the portal and app, resolve delivery issues and keep admin accurate
• Lead the team: coaching, huddles, staffing plans, SOPs and training, and handling escalations and conflict
• Analyse data to cut cost to serve, own team KPIs and dashboards, support forecasting and capacity planning, and work with Product, Tech and Commercial

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English
• Proven leadership in an operations or commercial role, with a track record of hitting targets
• Comfortable in the detail (calls, coaching, blockers) and able to build systems
• Strong communication, negotiation and phone-based influencing skills, with high EQ and attention to detail
• Based from the Central Business District office 5 days a week
• Bonus: contact centre or logistics experience, and experience working with customers in France
