On-site Project Manager – Durban CBD

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized Project Manager to support the delivery of projects across multiple divisions – Student Accommodation, Property Sales and Transportation – within our client’s Durban CBD operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, defining tasks, estimating timelines and documenting deliverables.
• Maintain project schedules and track task completion using MS Project, Asana or Trello.
• Identify, log and monitor project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
• Support all project phases from initiation through execution to closure, including change control documentation.
• Prepare regular status updates, milestone reports and quality‑check coordination.
• Coordinate daily activities among team members, act as primary contact for inquiries and manage communication with vendors, contractors and suppliers.
• Schedule meetings, draft agendas and distribute detailed minutes.
• Provide hands‑on support for division‑specific initiatives such as property maintenance, operational system roll‑outs, property transaction documentation, renovation scheduling and bus company logistics.
