Office Based Account Manager – Commercial

About the role

The Office Based Account Manager will support the Commercial Fuels strategy by coordinating commercial activities, analysing performance, and ensuring profitable growth. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Business Sales Manager, you will help drive operational efficiency and sustainable business development.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Commercial Fuels business plan and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate commercial initiatives across departments and improve processes.
• Monitor sales performance, margins, and profitability; prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Manage tender processes, RFQs, RFPs and contract renewals, ensuring compliance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and support customer acquisition.
• Process client orders, SAP ARIBA invoicing, and ensure smooth delivery.
• Maintain data integrity across systems and support audit requirements.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and provide strategic insights.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in Commercial Fuels, Lubricants, Petroleum, B2B sales, wholesale or commercial operations.
• Proven track record managing key customer accounts and commercial coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in performance monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and improve operational processes.
